Pre-production preparations and mode Settings
1.Mode selection and mold replacement
●Determine the production model: According to the production plan, clarify whether C-type or Z-type purlins will be produced this time.
●Replace the roller set: This is the most crucial preparatory step. After the machine stops, lift the original forming roller set out as a whole and then lift in the complete set of roller sets of the target model (C type or Z type). Modern advanced equipment usually adopts a modular quick-change design to simplify this process.
●Replace/Adjust the punching die: According to the hole type requirements of C-shaped or Z-shaped purlins, replace the corresponding punching die.
2. Comprehensive inspection of the equipment
●Mechanical inspection: Confirm that the quick-change mechanism is locked in place and all transmission components are normal.
●Lubrication system: Add lubricating oil to the new roller set and transmission system.
●Pneumatic/Hydraulic system: Check whether the pressure of the punching and cutting units is normal.
3. Raw material preparation
●Confirm that the material, coating and thickness of the steel coil meet the requirements. Note: When manufacturing Z-shaped purlins, due to the presence of inclined shoulders, the width requirements for raw materials are different from those for C-shaped ones. It is necessary to verify the accuracy.
